What I Do

I am a Transformational Coaching Specialist helping committed individuals to transform their lifestyle, habits and behaviours. I am a fully qualified Master Practitioners in Life Coaching, Clinical Hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming, accredited by the leading industry body -  ACCPH. I'm also trained to use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

What To Expect

Upon booking your consultation you will be sent a short questionnaire to complete. During your free 30-min Zoom (or phone) consultation we will discuss your needs and establish if we are the right fit for each other. Should we proceed, you will then be sent the client intake forms to complete and we will arrange your first session (after choosing the most appropriate coaching programme for your goals).

This takes into account your own experiences and desired outcomes. You are coached throughout the entire process to ensure successful implementation of any changes. I offer daily support and keep you accountable.

All programmes can be delivered remotely via Zoom, allowing me to help clients across the globe. My clinic in Hitchin, Hertfordshire means I can also offer in-person sessions. I am also available for ‘on location’ sessions and support suited to your circumstances (eg. specific events, job interviews, presentations phobias & fears etc).

The Power Of The Subconscious

Around 88% of human behaviour is controlled by the subconscious part of the mind. Think of it as an endless filing-cabinet that holds every piece of information we have ever received. All of our learned behaviours, habits and automatic ‘programmes’ are stored here. In contrast, the ‘thinking brain’ is the logical part of the mind. It has a limited focus and can only handle around seven pieces of information at any one time.


I recognise that the subconscious mind holds the key to lasting behaviour change. This is why Clinical Hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming are so effective. Put simply - by updating your ‘internal software’ we can rapidly change the way you experience life on the inside (what you see, what you feel and what you hear). Your old operating software has been holding you back - so let’s install a new programme that actually helps you get what you want.

Life Coaching:

Coaching is an empowering process where - through open and often vulnerable conversation - you are able to explore the workings of your mind. Your thought processes, your values, your beliefs. The stories you tell yourself. The language you use to describe your life situation. All of these things are incredibly important and have a huge role to play in your success, confidence and wellbeing. Coaching will help you to peel back the layers and reconnect with your sense of purpose and what gives you fulfilment. 


I will hold space for you to talk honestly and without fear of judgement, giving you time to reflect and draw your own conclusions. This is not therapy or counselling - we do not have to dwell on the past. Instead, we focus on moving forwards and creating a compelling future whilst developing the right strategies to help you get there.

Expect to be supported, challenged and held accountable in a kind and compassionate manner.

Clinical Hypnotherapy:

The clinical use of hypnosis is a fantastic tool for driving new positive thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It can help to change old beliefs and bring about new desired states of mind. We bypass the more logical ‘thinking brain’ and allow your amazing subconscious to provide you with all of the inherent skills, knowledge and resources you need. 


The subconscious responds well to imaginative language, metaphors and repetition. Old emotions are often released, and unhelpful ‘programmes’ that have been controlling unwanted behaviours and habits can be updated. This means you no longer have to rely on willpower which is often unsuccessful.  

It’s a common misconception that hypnosis involves some form of mind-control (often derived from seeing 'stage-show' hypnosis). This is far from the truth. Hypnosis is a natural state of mind which we all experience regularly - for instance, just before we fall asleep and wake up each day. In this state, your mind is highly focussed and able to accept positive, helpful suggestions with maximum effect.

 

I will be able to guide you through the hypnotherapy process in advance of any sessions, ensuring you are comfortable and willing to enjoy the multitude of benefits. 

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP):

The science behind NLP is fascinating. Put simply, it is a structured approach to how a person thinks, feels and behaves. Some describe it as ‘the study of personal excellence’. In the context of my coaching sessions, I use NLP-techniques to give your subconscious mind a ‘software update’. 


These techniques are extremely effective, particularly when combined with hypnotherapy. We use a powerful range of techniques to disrupt your connection with a particular habit or association, and then create new, helpful behaviours. NLP makes use of your internal system - how you experience certain things on the inside (for instance, how you personally experience stress, nerves or anxiety). This internal experience can then be changed for a brand new version that feels much better. What you see, what you hear and what you feel at a subconscious level are at the core of NLP.


I will discuss the NLP-techniques that will be most suited to your goals. NLP can be a real game changer.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT):

EFT is founded on the basis that there are certain energy points or meridians in the body that influence our thoughts and emotions. These energy channels can become blocked when an emotional experience is not fully dealt with, resulting in emotional and also physical symptoms.

By tapping on these energy points, the stored emotions can be released, thus unblocking the system. The gentle tapping on the head, face and around the shoulders (whilst focussing on the presenting issue) is aimed at safely neutralising the distressing memory/issue without having to re-live it. It can also be used to install new positive beliefs.

This re-calibration of the energy system is essential for good physical and mental health.
